1             Apologies for absence:

 

1.1         None.

 

2          Public minutes:

 

2.1       RESOLVED to approve as a correct record the public minutes of the previous meeting held on 31 August 2021.

 

3          Disclosures of interests:

 

3.1       Councillor Redstone declared a non-prejudicial interest in case 50/21.  

 

4          Urgent items:

           

4.1       None.

 

5          Report on changes to school transport policies:

 

5.1       The Panel noted the updated transport policies ratified by Lead Member for E&ISEND on 13 September 2021. Regarding the changes to the DTAP application form, members requested an amendment to the wording to ensure the process is as easy as possible to enable appellants to make their case noting that some families face challenging circumstances in bringing their appeal. The revised wording will be shared with members as soon as it is available and will ensure continuity across the policies, application forms and website.

6.1       None.    

 

7          Exclusion of the press and public:

 

7.1       It was RESOLVED - to exclude the public and press from the meeting for agenda items 8, 9, 10 and 11 on the grounds that if the public and press were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as specified in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), namely information relating to an individual.

 

8          Exempt minutes:

 

8.1       RESOLVED to approve as a correct record the exempt minutes of the previous meeting held on 31 August 2021.

 

9          Report on previous cases:

 

9.1       The Panel was updated case number 16/21. They were asked to reconsider the case in the light of new information. The case was deferred pending some additional information.

10        Consideration of transport provision in individual cases:

 

10.1     The Panel considered and reached a decision on the following transport provision case numbers: 50/21 and 51/21.  

 

10.2     Cases numbers 48/21 and 52/21 were deferred pending some additional information.
